JEE Main is a national level engineering exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admissions to Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Architecture courses. There are two papers for JEE Main where Paper-I is for B.E./B.Tech candidates and Paper-II is for B. Arch candidates
This year the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled JEE Main 2018 offline exam for April 8, 2018 while the online exam will be held on April 15 and 16, 2018. CBSE has recently released a notice explaining the schedule/timing related to different events like timing of entry for checking purposes, distribution of test booklet, last entry in the examination hall, starting of exam, concluding of exam for both modes of JEE Main 2018 exams.

From the above information we can conclude some important points which are given below:
1. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall after the time of last entry in the examination hall i.e., 9:30 AM for Paper-1, 2:00 PM for Paper-I and 2:30 PM for second shift of Paper-II.
2. There will be no second shift on April 16, 2018.
3. The test booklet will be distributed on 9:20 AM for Paper-I and 13:50 PM for Paper-II.
4. Students can break the seal of test booklet on 9:25 AM for Paper-I and 13:55 PM for Paper-II, but they can start the paper only on the time allotted for it.
