Don Bosco Global School at Jhande village won’t be allowed to admit students of class IX to XII for the next session commencing from 1st April next year as CBSE has withdrawn its provisional affiliation for secondary & senior school certificate examination.
This decision of CBSE has upset many & disturbed parents are in quest of other schools for their ward’s admission. A parent stated, “I am upset as my ward is studying in Don Bosco School. I came to know about the extraction of affiliation by CBSE which is quite distressing to us. I am approaching other schools & I will be admitting my son in any other school soon”. In a letter issued to Don Bosco Global School by CBSE clearly says that on the basis of a complaint CBSE had inspected the school.
The committee during the inspection discovered that the school before its affiliation had admitted eleven students in 9th standard & got their Class 10th exam cleared through Kamla Montessori School, Sirsa in the year 2012. The board also found that Don Bosco School purportedly produced fake land credentials for seeking affiliation from CBSE. The school has appointed its staff on a fixed salary of Rs 8,000 per month.
The committee presented its report to CBSE & the board decided to withdraw the provisional affiliation of the school for secondary & senior school certificate examination with instantaneous effect. Nevertheless, to save the career of classes 9-12 students, CBSE has allowed the former to appear in its exam to be held in 2015 - 2016 after determining their eligibility as per the examination bylaws.
