The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon be conducting a five day behavioral program on leadership and School Management.
CBSE will soon conduct a flagship five day behavioral program , after they decided to implement the RTE prescribed changes in schools .
The program is meant for principals, vice principals, head mistresses of the 13,500 schools. It will be held will be held across multiple locations in the residential and non residential format starting in the first week of May 2013 and will continue till 31 March 2014 in India.
The leadership module will cover three areas of leadership i.e. leading self, leading teams and leading the system. The technical part will cover areas like RTE, use of technology for both administration and learning, efficient financial management, school accreditation and new age assessments focused not just on the final examination score of a student but through comprehensive and continuous evaluation throughout 2013.
Students must also note that the programs will have the leadership module will cover three areas of leadership i.e. leading self, leading teams and leading the system.
