Center not to Include Marks of English Language for Merit in CSE 2014
After due consideration, the Central Government has decided that in the Paper-II of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, the marks of question-section on “English language comprehension skills” are not to be included for gradation or merit, in the CSE 2014.
Central government has taken an upfront decision as per which the marks of question-section of “English language comprehension skills” will not be included for graduation or merit in the Paper II of Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2014.
It has also been decided that candidates who appeared in CSE 2011 would be given one more attempt in CSE 2015.
This decision was given by the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Dr. Jitendra Singh in Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
Though the Center has not yet taken any decision regarding relaxation on upper age limit inspite of many complaints being registered for the same.
