Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences: Recruitment of 21 Research Officers

Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is a self-governing organisation under Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GoI. CCRAS invited applications from eligible aspirants for 21 posts of Research Officers in Ayurveda and Chemistry disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

For Research Officer (Ayurveda)

• Applicants must be 10^th pass or equivalent.
• Besides this, the candidates should have degree / Diploma in Ayurveda of 4 years duration from a recognised University/Statutory Faculty / Board.
• Further, the job seekers must possess Post-graduation Degree / Diploma in Ayurveda of at least 2 years duration from a recognised University/Statutory Board / Faculty.
• Moreover, aspirants are required to have 8 years professional experience in research/teaching in a recognised Institution/College/University post qualification (PG).

For Research Officer (Chemistry)

• Candidates must possess PG Degree in Chemistry from a recognised University/ Institution.
• In addition this, the job applicants should have 5 years research / teaching experience after attaining the Degree in a recognised Institution/ College/ University.
  
  OR

• Aspirants must be PhD degree holders of a recognised University/ Institution.
• Besides this, the candidates should have 3 years research/ teaching experience in a recognised Institution/ College/ University.

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2013): Maximum 40 years (for both posts)

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates will be based on the written test followed by an interview to be held by the Council.

Application Fee and Mode of Payment

The application fee is Rs 100 for OBC/ General Categories Applicants (Rs 20 in case of SC/ ST candidates) and must be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director General, CCRAS, payable at New Delhi.

No application fee for PH/ Female applicants.
