The results of Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination 2014 for class 10th , conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is likely to get declared today, i.e. 21 May 2014 at around 3 p.m. on Jagran Josh.

The candidates can view their results using their roll number, by visiting website: http://www.cisce.org/ or can also get the results straight on their mobiles via SMS service. To subscribe for results, candidates may send the key words - ICSE 1234567 (seven digit Unique ID) to the following numbers: 09248082883/ 51818/ 56263/58888/5676750   

The 2014 ICSE Class 10 examinations were held from 3 March to 29 March 2014 in 2,500 centers in English medium only, and the answer scripts were assessed in by and large 650 centralised centers.

In 2013, total candidates who sat for ICSE 2013 Class 10 exam, 98.20% students were able to secure passing percentage. The written examination is conducted in 23 Indian languages while remaining are foreign languages to make a total of 64 subjects.

The physically challenged students did well last year as 28 Dyslexic students manage to attain more than 90 % marks, Visually Challenged candidates to score above 90 were 6. Surprisingly, last year, 16 candidates gave exams straight from the hospital among which 4 successfully scored beyond 90% in ICSE exam.

The board has set criteria that students appearing for ICSE examination for class 10 need to get through in minimum of 6 subjects. Among the 6 subjects, candidate must pass in English, any Second Language and History, Civics Geography (mandatory subjects) and any 3 optional subjects in order to get pass and promotion certificate from ICSE board.

School and regular students take the exam only, while Private candidates are not eligible to appear for this examination.
