Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued admit card from 25 January 2016 for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for February 2016. The examination is scheduled to be held on 21 February 2016.
Candidates who had applied for the examination can download their admit card from the official website www.ctet.nic.in.
Tips for last three days to crack CTET Exam-
After rigorous preparations, it is the time to think how to manage and organize your three days before the examination, as CTET 2016 exam is ahead (Central board of secondary Education has already notified the date of examination of CTET to be held in February 2016). So, now you are all set, if your exam is just next day, it may be a stressful time. The competitive exams are all about how well you can manage the stress and still perform. So, candidates also need a proper strategy and mind set before walking into the exam hall. Everybody has his/her own ways and strategies. The current article provides some last minute tips/guidelines for competitive exams.

Child Development and Pedagogy
Child psychology is an important branch of psychology which focuses on the mind and behaviour of children from parental development through adolescence. Child psychology deals not only with the growth of children physically, but also with their mental, emotional and social development as well. Today, psychologists recognize that child psychology is unique and complex, but many differ in terms of the unique perspective they take when approaching development.
It is suggested that candidates should focus on Pedagogy sail through. Child Development and Pedagogy and pedagogy of various sections together comprise of 60% of weightage of Paper 1 and 53% of Paper 2. Therefore, concentrate on the pedagogy part well to score well in CTET.
The Environment studies is a multi-disciplinary science comprising of various branches of studies like chemistry, physical science, life science, agriculture, health, sanitary engineering etc. Environment means surrounding around us which includes all those things on which we depend directly or indirectly, whether living things like animals, plants or non-living components like air, soil, water etc. Douglas and Holland have defined the environmental studies as‘The term environment is used to describe, in theaggregate, all the external forces, influences and conditions, which affect thelife, nature, behaviour and the growth, development and maturity of living organisms’.
Language I and language II are two main parts of paper I each comprising of 30 multiple choice questions. Selection of languages is also very important. One should always keep in mind those Languages I and II focus on proficiency and abstracts, respectively. Social Studies/Social Science
Social studies/Social science is one of the elective subjects in paper II of CTET. Geography is an important part of the syllabus of social studies/social science in CTET exams.
