CTET Exam 2016: Important Notice for J&K Candidates

An important notification has come up regarding CTET Exam 2016. The official update is relevant for all those candidates appearing from Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir). The examination will be held on 18 September 2016.

There are a total of 05 examination centres in Jammu and 01 Exam Centre in Srinagar for 10th editions of Central Teacher Eligibility Test.

Taking the present situation in the State into consideration, an alternative arrangement has been provided by fixing Exam Centre at Jammu for the candidates of Srinagar (J&K) only. Candidates can appear from any one of the city, Srinagar or Jammu.

Separate test on any other date will not be conducted in any case. Therefore, the candidates of Srinagar (J&K) have the option to choose any one of the exam centre either in Srinagar (J&K) or in Jammu. The Roll Nos. already allotted will remain same.
