Defence Materials & Stores Research & Development Establishment (DMSRDE), Kanpur under Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, issued notification inviting applications for award of two Research Associate-ships, one Senior Research Fellowship and two Junior Research Fellowships with it initially for a period of 2 years.

Total vacancies: 5 posts
Tenure: initially 2 years (maximum)
1. Research Associate (RA): 2 posts
Remuneration: Rs.24000 per month (consolidated)
Age limit: 30 years
Educational qualifications: Ph.D in Chemistry/ Polymers/ Nano-Science & Technology
Experience required: 3 years research experience in the field of Chemistry.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SFR-P): 1 post
Remuneration: Rs.18000 per month (consolidated)
Age limit: 32 years
Educational qualifications: M.Tech. in Polymers/ Plastics/ Nano-Science & Technology; candidate should have qualified NET exam.
3. Junior Research Fellow (JFR): 2 posts
Remuneration: Rs.16000 per month (consolidated)
Age limit: 28 years
Educational qualifications: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/ Inorganic) or equivalent qualification; candidate should have qualified NET exam.
Note: Age will be reckoned as on the last date for receipt of applications. Age will be relax-able by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category and by 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC-NC category
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for the Interview.
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of 2 years;
Application fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.50 is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the ‘Director, DMSRDE, Kanpur’
SC/ ST/ OBC candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
