Educational Qualification
- Electronics & Comm. Engg/ Electronics Engg , Mechanical Engg, Mechanical Engg, Electrical Engg/ Electrical & Electronics Engg, Aeronautical Engg/ Aerospace Engg, Chemical Engg, Instrumentation Engg, Automobile Engg, Ceramic Engg - At least First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Geology, Material Science, Polymer Science, Atmospheric Science, Atmospheric Science, Physical Oceanography, Psychology – At least First Class Master’s Degree in relevant subject from a recognized university.
Age Limit for Scientist/Engineer B Posts
- General – Not exceeding 28 years for DRDO, Not exceeding 30 years for ADA
- OBC (Non-creamy layer) – Not exceeding 31 years for DRDO, Not exceeding 33 years for ADA
- SC/ST -Not exceeding 33 years for DRDO, Not exceeding 35 years for ADA
