The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi has recently completed the summer placement for the class of 2019. The entire batch of MBA students has been placed and it has been reported that the average stipend grew by 13.5 percent compared to the previous years.

Average Stipend offered: INR 2,30,000/-
Average compensation for the top 100 students: INR 2,71,600/-
Average stipend for women Candidates: INR Rs. 233,674

From the highlights mentioned above, it is evident that the top B-school of India has been able to secure good placements for the batch of MBA aspirants. A surge of 13.5 percent in the average placements makes it clear that the institute is on a growth trajectory and the MBA hype has not died down. Where the top 100 students were able to grab an average stipend of Rs 2,45,200 last year, this year, the figures have reached to Rs 2,71,600 for the batch. In addition, 80 percent of the MBA batch comprising of 170 candidates has received a stipend of Rs. 2,00,000 and above from the top recruiters.

FMS Summer Placement: Domain-wise report
The Sales and marketing domain has seen maximum candidates opting for the placements. Several jobs were offered to the candidates from this domain. Not less than 39 percent of the batch has been hired as interns by the sales and marketing firms. Recruiters from various verticals of the industry such as industrial goods, pharmaceuticals, retail, e-commerce, healthcare and consumer electronics showed keen interest in hiring the candidates for the sales and marketing profiles of their firms.
Consulting and General Management domain was the second most preferred choice for the job seekers. Nearly, 22 percent student got opportunity to join as interns with the firms looking for the general management and consulting profile.
Offers from the information technology (IT), operations and E-commerce domain rose to 42 percent compared to the previous year.

Top-notch recruiters such as Flipkart, Google, Media.Net, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Uber, Swiggy and Ola visited the campus of the premier management institute.
