Under GOA PSC Recruitment 2016 out of total 04 posts, 01 Post each is Professor in Pediatric Surgery, Associate Professors (Plastic Surgery), Associate Professor (Pediatric Surgery, Assistant Professor (Plastic Surgery) , Assistant Professor (Pediatric Surgery) , Lecturer (Ophthalmology), Lecturer (Orthopedic Surgery) , Lecturer (Pediatric Surgery) , Assistant Lecturer in Plastic Surgery , Physicist in Department of Radiology , Lecturer in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge , Scientific Assistant cum Photographer in Forensic Science Laboratory, Functional Manager and 03 Posts are for Medical Officer.
Eligibility for Professor: candidate should have recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956) and Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty or equivalent with minimum one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) and should have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Associate Professors: candidate should have recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956) and Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty or equivalent with minimum one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgical (M.Ch) and should have Knowledge of Konkani.

Eligibility for Lecturers: candidate should have recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Medical qualification in the specialty concerned or equivalent. (iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Senior Resident/Registrar/ Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution. and should have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Assistant Lecturer: candidate should have recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Physicist: candidate should have Master’s degree in Physics/Nuclear Physics from a recognized University or equivalent and Diploma in Radiological Physics OR 02 year’s practical training and/or experience in X-Ray and Electronic equipment in X-Ray Department or Laboratory and have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Lecturer in Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge: candidate should have Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned specialty/subject from a recognized institution or equivalent and should be registered with Dental Council and have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Medical Officer: candidate should have recognized Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (otherthan Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 18 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School (Medico-Cirurgiao) and should have completed compulsory rotating internship and have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Scientific Assistant cum Photographer in Forensic Science Laboratory: candidate should have Degree in Science with at least second class from a recognized University and Diploma in Photography or Certificate Course in Advanced Photography from a recognized Institution and should have Knowledge of Konkani.
Eligibility for Functional Manager: candidate should have Degree of a recognised University with Knowledge of Konkani.
