HCL Recruiting Kids Straight Out of Class X & XII to train them into IT Professionals

India's 4th largest service exporter in HCL Technologies Limited has begun a new initiative. They are giving opportunities for young students who have just cleared Class X. Their objective is to pip competitors into recruiting the very best minds of the nation and build them into through IT Professionals. They are offering talented Class XII Pass outs  who have a background in Science & Technology a starting salary nearing 2 Lakhs per annum. They are been trained to form and test applications for the reputed organization.

In a recently conducted Pilot program in Madurai HCL hired 100 eligible students who cleared Class XII with flying colours. The basic criteria was simple a student had to secure 85% marks in aggregate in their board examinations, the criteria was further relaxed to 80% for CBSE Background students.

Not only this, in collaboration with some other colleges like SSN Engineering College HCL is also providing the students options to continue their education with a weekend degree program in B.Sc. In a training spanning over one year with nine months allocated for hardcore subjects along with three for on the job training to acquaint them with the working culture of the organization. The students will be directly trained for one year at the Coimbatore campus.

This hiring can be looked upon as a path breaking idea to shape the future of the country. As every year very talented students are unable to continue their education due to some problems or the other but with programs like these they can get a chance to secure for themselves a secure future and can even continue their studies further.
