High Court of Gujarat, Ahmedabad invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned posts of “Legal Assistant” purely on Contractual Basis, initially for a period of 11 months, extendable on periodical basis, upto a maximum period of 3 Years.The candidates eligible for the post may apply ONLINE on or before 15 August 2014 (23.59 Hrs.).

• Date of Downloading of ONLINE Application:        Preceding week of Viva- Voce Test.  
• Date of Viva- Voce Test/ Interview: Tentatively in the Month of September 2014.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Degree in Law from any recognizedUniversity or Institution.          
• Must havebasis knowledge in Computer Application/ Operations.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 35 years and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15,000/- Per Month.

Application Fee: Application Fee (Non- Refundable) is of Rs. 200/- (Two Hundred only)plus Bank Charges in the Current Bank Account No. 30725811785 of State Bank of India (SBI), held in the name of the Registrar General, High Court of Gujarat, Sola, Ahemdabad.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the ONLINEPreliminary Test followed by the Viva- Voce/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

• After successful submission of ONLINE application take two Printouts of the filled in Application Form for future requirement/ reference.
• Candidate has to submit the Print out of filled Application Formalong with the self- attested photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc.with a recent colored passport size photograph at the time of Viva- Voce.
