Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, a Navaratna Central PSU, invited applications for recruitment to 17 posts – 5 posts of Senior Medical Officer (SMO) (Grade-III) in disciplines of Radiology, Medicine, Industrial Health, Anesthesia, OB&G (1 post per discipline), 4 posts each of Medical Officers (MO) (General Duty) & Fire Officer, 3 posts of Engineer-Civil (Grade-II) and 1 post of Assistant Security Officer (Grade-I). Qualifications: MBBS with MD/ DNB/ MS/ DMRD in concerned specialty and relevant experience.
6. MO- General Duty (Grade-II): 4 posts
Qualifications: MBBS with relevant experience.
7. Fire Officer (Grade-II): 4 posts
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering/ qualified Associate Membership/ Membership exam of Institute of Fire Engineering OR Degree + pass in GIFE with relevant experience.
8. Engineer- Civil (Grade-II): 3 posts
Qualifications: Degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering / completed 10 months pre-Commission Training course from the Officers' Training School, Madras/ completed 1-1.5 years course conducted by Central/ State Governments with relevant experience.
9. Assistant Security Officer (Grade-I): 1 post
Qualifications: PG Degree/ M.Sc. in Forensic Science & Criminology/ MA in Sociology/ Economics/ Psychology/ Public Administration/ Criminology/ Bachelor's Degree with PG Degree/ Diploma/ MBA/ MSW/ MA with specialization in Human Resources/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Labor Management with relevant experience.
Maximum Age limit: [as on 18 June 2014]
For SMO: 45 years
For other posts: 35 years
[Upper age limit is relax-able up to 5 years for SC/ ST candidates and up to 3 years for OBC candidates]
Pay Scale:
For Grade III posts: Rs.20600–46500
For Grade II posts: Rs.16400–40500
For Grade I posts: Rs.12600–32500
Selection Procedure
Selection to all Medical posts and to the post of Engineer (Civil) will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the Interview.
Selection of Assistant Security Officer & Fire Officer will be done through Written Test and Interview.
Only shortlisted candidates would be called for written tests/ Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for written tests/ Interview on the basis of their qualifications and experience.
Date, time and venue of written tests/ Interview will be intimated to the candidates by e-mail/ through HAL websites/ by Post.
Candidates will be required to carry all certificates/ documents in original as well as attested copies & passport size photo during Interview.
Application Fee
Non-refundable application fee of Rs.500 is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Aircraft Division’ payable at Bangalore.
SC/ ST candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
