Applications are invited from eligible land loser candidates (Self/ Sons/ Spouse/ Unmarried daughters/ Grandsons/ Unmarried Granddaughters only) whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway project, irrespective of the percentage of land lost and from only SC/ ST candidates from other than land losers registered with the Employment Exchanges along Konkan Railway route within the jurisdiction of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (Raigad, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri Districts of Maharashtra; Goa State; and Karwar, Udupi and South  Kannada Districts of Karnataka), for the following posts in various departments in Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Engineer (Process): B Tech/ BE in Pulp and Paper Technology or Chemical Engineering. Experience: 2 years
• Maintenance Engineer: B Tech/ BE in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Electrical Engineering. Experience: 2 years
• Supervisor (Process/ Lab)
  
  a) B.A.Sc (Pulp & Paper Science) or equivalent
• b) Three Year Diploma in Wood & Paper Technology or equivalent
• c) Three Year Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• d) Experience: 2 years
• Maintenance Supervisor: Three Year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation or Electronics Engineering. Experience: 2 years
• Supervisor (Safety): Diploma in Industrial Safety from the Directorate of Technical Education/ Central Labour Institute/ Regional Labour Institute. Experience: 2 years
• Supervisor (FDP): BSc (Forestry) of 4 year duration from Agricultural Universities. They should have scored minimum 60% marks for their graduation.

Age Limit (as on 30 September 2011): Maximum 37 years

Application Fee: Application fee for General category candidates is Rs 100 and no fee will be charged from SC/ ST/ PWD and Ex- Service candidates.

The fee needs to be paid in the form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order in favour of Hindustan Newsprint Ltd.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written Test and Interview.

Remuneration

• For Engineer in Process and Maintenance: The selected candidates will be paid an all inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs 23500.
• For Supervisors in Process/ Lab/ Maintenance/ FDP/ Safety: The selected candidates will be paid an all inclusive monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs 16500.
