Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Examinations every year in lien of vacancies that arise in the various government offices and departments nationwide. The examination is quite a popular one with lakhs of candidates applying for the posts in offer. Procedure for apply Online application:
Candidates who apply for the SSC CGL examination must read all the relevant information regarding the examination and process of application in the official notification beforehand. To apply online for the SSC CGL examination the candidates need to visit the official website www.ssconline2.gov.in. The candidates, who are applying online, need to go through two parts of registration. The part I of the registration includes submission of details by the candidates regarding their basic information. Once they complete the part I and click on submission button the candidates have to press the ‘I Agree’ button to make sure that the information provided by them are correct and no further correction is needed. After click the button candidates received registration number and undergo the part II of the application process. In this part the candidates need to fill their payment details, upload their photograph, scanned signature and transaction ID provided by the bank in relative columns. The candidates would be allowed to submit only one application for SSC CGL examination for the given year. They could either do it online or submit the same offline to the concerned regional/sub regional office of the commission, according to the choice of examination centre by the candidates. In case of multiple applications for online applications, the last application for which both Part I and Part II registration have been completed would be accepted. In case of offline multiple applications, the regional director/deputy director of the centre/regional office would accept only one of the applications submitted by the candidates.
