Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Examinations every year in lien of vacancies that arise in the various government offices and departments nationwide. The examination is quite a popular one with lakhs of candidates applying for the posts in offer. Due to the job security and a good career prospect after getting through any of the posts offered by SSC in various government ministries and departments, many aspiring candidates prepare themselves for the examination. It results in fierce competition and the selection of candidates are made after two tiers of written examination and one round of personal interview, conducted by the concerned recruitment authority. The candidates, as soon as the notification gets publish, should read all the vital information and declarations made by the notification. It is important to check the notification for all the basic criteria like eligibility, age limit, nationality and other such details. Those candidates filling up the application form online must ensure that they are ready with the required documents and files, which are going to be needed at the time of applying online. The candidates should also be aware of the fact that the information provided to the authority must be genuine and correct. Any wrong information which leads the commission to jeopardy, provided by the candidates would get scrutinized by the commission later and the application would stand canceled. Hence, it is very important to understand the pattern of filling up the application form and provide correct information.
Procedure for apply Online application:
Candidates who apply for the SSC CGL examination must read all the relevant information regarding the examination and process of application in the official notification beforehand. To apply online for the SSC CGL examination the candidates need to visit the official website www.ssconline2.gov.in. The candidates, who are applying online, need to go through two parts of registration. The part I of the registration includes submission of details by the candidates regarding their basic information. Once they complete the part I and click on submission button the candidates have to press the ‘I Agree’ button to make sure that the information provided by them are correct and no further correction is needed. After click the button candidates received registration number and undergo the part II of the application process. In this part the candidates need to fill their payment details, upload their photograph, scanned signature and transaction ID provided by the bank in relative columns. The candidates would be allowed to submit only one application for SSC CGL examination for the given year. They could either do it online or submit the same offline to the concerned regional/sub regional office of the commission, according to the choice of examination centre by the candidates. In case of multiple applications for online applications, the last application for which both Part I and Part II registration have been completed would be accepted. In case of offline multiple applications, the regional director/deputy director of the centre/regional office would accept only one of the applications submitted by the candidates.
