Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has issued notification for HP State Eligibility Test (SET), scheduled to be held in the month of February/March 2018. HP SET 2017 is conducted to determine the eligibility for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges located within the State of Himachal Pradesh.
HP SET 2017 will be held for 22 subjects at the centers located at Shimla, Solan, Mandi,Sunder Nagar, Dharamshala, Palampur and Kangra. The candidates with Master’s degree in the mentioned 22 subjects can apply in the prescribed format on or before 27 November 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for HP State Eligibility Test -2017
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Candidates with Master’s Degree in the relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.
Examination Scheme for HP State Eligibility Test -2017
HPPSC HP SET 2017 will consist of three papers of Objective type questions and paper I and Paper II will have 50 questions each of 100 marks and paper III will have 75 questions of 2 marks each.

Online applications will be accepted through the official website of HPPSC. The last date of application is 27 November 2017.
Examination Fee: Rs. 700 (Rs. 350 for OBC and Rs. 175 for SC/ST/PWD of HP)
