HRD Minster Smriti Irani Announces MOOC- SWAYAM: New Online Higher Education Platform

HRD Minster Smriti Irani unveiled SWAYAM -Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds, the new web platform for Inclusive higher education. SWAYAM is a Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCS) platform, which aims at providing online courses, study material and course registration. 

HRD Minster tweeted the structure of the SWAYAM webs enabled learning platform structure, which according to ministry will provide assistance in web enabled learning. SWAYAM will allow students to check their eligibility for courses and availability of opportunity for contact course coordinators ans network with fellow learners and share their experience.

Successful course completion will lead to certification and qualification for next module of the course. Completion of requisite number of modules will lead to qualification and the accreditation will be at par with regular learning.
