Online form registrations for HSC board exams to happen in February-March 2014 is standing still due to website is having glitches starting from the first day of registration date.
The students who have already attempt the uploading of exam forms on the website, which was functional since November 27, were facing troubles by unable to log on to the website or by not being able to upload all the forms.
The principal of a school in Goregaon said the website kept crashing and gave troubles while logging in. The entire process will be repeated all over again.
Many principals also showed their discomfort with the commencement of online registration process of the state Board and they are not happy with the struggle online registration brings.
The form filling process comprises filling information of students along with their photographs and signature.
The state education department held workshops for schools and colleges. The representatives of the institutes were provided with software to fill forms offline.
The representatives were asked to keep the forms in batches of 30-40 each followed by uploading that each batch after the website is functional.
However, Jitendra Dalvi, administration officer at St Andrew's College in Bandra informed of no circular received by them telling about the website being ready for the process to begin.
Mumbai division board chairman, Laxmikant Pande, told that institutes have now been informed to upload only a few forms each day to prevent the glitch from occurring. The last date is December 7, for the institutes to complete the upload process.
