IBPS RRBs CWE-III Exam 2014: Eligibility Criteria

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will shortly conduct Online CWE for RRBs (RRBs- CWE-III) with the aim of filling the posts of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Rural Banks. Eligible & Interested candidates can apply through prescribed format before 09 July 2014.

Eligibility

Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be either -

• a Citizen of India or
• a subject of Nepal or
• a subject of Bhutan or
• a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
• a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit (As on 01 June 2014)
For Officer Scale- III: Above 21 years: Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 June 1974 and later than 31 May 1993 (both dates inclusive)  
For Officer Scale- II: Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 June 1982 and later than 31 May 1993 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I:  Above 18 years - Below 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03 June 1986 and later than 31 May 1996 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02 June 1986 and later than 01 June 1996 (both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualification

Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
Officer Scale-II: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy;
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers):

• Information Technology Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• Chartered Accountant: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
• Law Officer: Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
• Treasury Manager: Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution
• Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing from a recognized university. Agricultural Officer Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Officer Scale-III: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
