Eligibility Criteria for Consultant, Project Scientist and Other Job

Educational Qualification:

• Consultant (Scientific): Master degree in Public Health/Epidemiology or MD in Community Medicine with R&D experience.
• Project Scientist C  (Non-Medical): 1st Class Master Degree (MPH/M.Sc./MAE) in Epidemiology/Public Health from a recognized university with 4 years’ experience.

OR

2nd Class Master Degree (MPH/M.Sc./ MAE) in Epidemiology / Public Health with PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized University with 4 years experience

OR

BDS/B.V.Sc degree & AH degree with 5 years experience in Public Health research or teaching after BDS/B.V.Sc.

• Project Scientist C (Medical/Non-Medical): (i) Medical

M.D. in Preventive and Social Medicine or Microbiology with one year relevant experience or MPH Degree with 2 years relevant experience

OR

M.B.B.S Degree with 4 years experience in the area of Public Health/ Preventive and Social medicine / Epidemiology / Microbiology after obtaining MBBS Degree.

(ii) Non-Medical

B.V.Sc & AH / BDS Degree recognized by VCI / DCI with five (5) years’ experience in Public Health/Epidemiology/ Microbiology after B.V.Sc & AH / BDS

OR

1st Class Master Degree in Biostatistics with 4 years experience in the relevant area

OR

2nd Class Master Degree in Biostatistics + PhD with 4 years experience in the relevant area

• Project Scientist B (Non-Medical): First class Master’s degree in Statistics/Bio statistics/Public Health/Epidemiology from a recognized university with Two (2) years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject.

OR

Second class Master’s degree with Ph.D. in Statistics/Bio statistics/Public Health/Epidemiology from a recognized university.

• Project Staff Nurse: Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (GNM) or equivalent and registered with any state nursing council.

• Project Technical Assistant (Staff Nurse): Graduate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university with three years relevant experience from a recognized institution

OR

Post Graduate degree in Nursing

• Project Technical Officer (Social Worker): Graduate in Social Sciences/ Social Work from a recognized university with 5 years working experience from a recognized institution.

OR

Masters degree in Social Sciences/Social Work.

• Project Computer Programmer Grade A: Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Application /Information Technology from a recognized University

OR

B.E / B.Tech in Computer Engineering / Computer Science /Computer Technology / Information Technology from a recognizedInstitution / University

• Upper Division Clerk (UDC): 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board with 5 years experience of administrative work

OR

Graduate in any discipline with 2 years experience of administrative work

OR

A typing speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (KDPH) in English on computer

• Project Data Entry Operator (Grade A): Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized board. A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer.
