Eligibility Criteria for Project Engineer, Project Technical Assistant and Other Posts

Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria

Project Engineer –I (Mechanical)– B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Project Engineer-I (Software) – B.E/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Project Engineer-I (Optics)- B.E/B.Tech (Optics/ Applied Optics/ Optical Physics/ Optical/ Instrumentation Engineering) or M.Sc (Tech – Optics) or equivalent qualification with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) from a reputed and recognized university. Candidates with higher qualification in relevant field and experience will also be considered.
Project Technical Assistant-II (Mechanical)- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the aggregate from a recognized University/Institution.
Project Scientific Associate-I- M.Sc (Physics/Optics/Applied Optics) or B.E/B.Tech in Instrumentation/Optics with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/Institution.
Engineer Trainee - B.E/B.Tech (Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/ Optical Engineering/ Instrumentation) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) from a reputed University. Programming skills in C/C++, Matlab/Python or LabVIEW are essential.
Research Trainee – M.Sc (Applied Optics/Photonics/Physics/Instrumentation) with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) from a reputed and recognized university. Some programming skills in Matlab/Python/C/C++ and experience in optical design and analysis are essential.
