IIM Indore has recently announced the shortlist of the candidates for its newly launched PGP-HRM Programme. The institute has come up with the selection process for the 2 year full time PGP-HRM Programme. As for the aspirants, they need to undergo both the Written Ability Test (WAT) and personal Interview (PI) on the basis of scores obtained in CAT 2017 and other parameters to get shortlisted for the admission to PGP-HRM. The minimum CAT 2017 percentile cut off proposed by IIM Indore is 90.
The prescribed minimum CAT 2017 cut off percentile to get an overall score as well as sectional scored is as follows:

IIM-Indore to offer PGP-HRM
IIM-Indore is set to launch 2 year full time Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) for the batch of students seeking admission in the year 2018.
With this addition in their basket of management programmes, IIM Indore will offer admission to 30 more candidates to its PGP-HRM programme, increasing the total strength to 560 from the existing 530 students. The programme will be offered in both the Indore and Mumbai campuses.

Shortlisting process for PGP-HRM Programme
IIM-Indore will have more seats to offer to the CAT Aspirants as the shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the similar basis with that of the other programmes.
Here are various criteria that will be considered while shortlisting the candidates, seeking admission in PGP-HRM.
Performance in 10th and 12th standard
It should be noted that Candidates will be shortlisted for WAT & PI stage on the basis of composite scores which will be arrived at by accounting for the academic profile. Candidates with a score of 85 per cent marks or above can get a good weightage in the computation of composite scores.
Class 10th marks have been given 36 per cent weightage whereas class 12 marks has been awarded 40% weight in shortlisting process. No weightage has been allotted to the performance of the marks scored in graduation.

Gender Diversity Factor
Female candidates have an edge in getting shortlisted. IIM Indore will award 4 per cent weightage to ensure gender diversity in the selection for the PI round. No weightage has been allotted to male or transgender candidates.
IIM-Indore: Final Admission Parameters
IIM Indore has allotted highest weightage to PI and WAT while performance in CAT 2017 scores has been alloted only 20% weightage. Here is a bifurcation of all the parameters and th weightage associated with each one of them for the final round of selection in the PGP-HRM programme.

About the PGP-HRM Programme
According to Prof Jagannathan “The USPs of PGP-HRM are its emphasis on analytics, applied psychological tools and business strategy to groom a new wave of HR professionals.”
Aspirants can seek admission through CAT 2017 exam only. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a separate Written Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. A candidate needs to have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)).
