    Established in the year 2009, IIM Udaipur is popular for its two year full-time Post Graduate Program (PGP) flagship course. The institute is spread across 300 acres of land in the Balicha area of Udaipur and was shifted to a permanent campus recently i.e. in the year 2016. IIM Udaipur is known for operating on best global practises that creates a solid foundation in the field of management.

    IIM Udaipur: Programmes Offered

    IIM Udaipur, one of the premier MBA institutes of India is offering two types of post-graduate courses. The first course i.e. PGP is aimed at fresh graduates and people with few years of work experience while the other MBA programme i.e. PGPX is aimed only towards the working professionals. Let us find out more about these programmes in detail:

    PGP: IIM Udaipur’s post graduate programme in management is a two year full-time flagship course which is designed to transform the learning experience of students and develop them to behold corporate responsible with high skills. The course is spread across two years over six terms with a compulsory Internship at the end of the 1st year. At the end of the PGP course, students earn an MBA degree instead of PG diploma.

    PGPX: PGPX is a one year MBA programme with is conducted in full partnership between IIMU and the prestigious Krannert School of Management at Purdue University in the United States (one of the world leaders in the SCM domain). PGPX is a full-time residential program and admission eligibility is through the GMAT/GRE exam. The course is extended over a period of 15 months.

    IIM Udaipur: PGP (2019-21) Eligibility Criteria

    For a candidate to be eligible for getting enrolled in the PGPX course, it is mandatory to possess a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility criterion is relaxed to 45%. Candidates appearing in the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results is also eligible to apply for IIM Udaipur Admission 2019-21. Such a candidate must produce a certificate from the principal/head of the department/ registrar/director of the institution/university certifying that the candidate is currently in the final year or is awaiting final results and has obtained at least 50% marks or equivalent (45% in case of the candidate belonging to SC/ST/PwD category) based on latest available grades/marks.

    IIM Udaipur: PGP (2019-21) Admission Process

    The admission process of IIM Udaipur comprises of three steps in which a candidates is required to face CAT entrance exam and thereafter WAT/PI round. The selection process aims to screen the best candidate fit to pursue MBA from IIMs which are considered as top B-Schools of India. Here are the steps that are followed generally by all the IIMs as a part of the admission process:

    CAT Entrance Examination: The CAT entrance exam is conducted to Shortlist candidates for WAT and Personal Interview (PI) round. PA round comprises of Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to IIMs which are participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP).

    IIM Udaipur: PGP (2019-21) Admission Cut-offs

    IIM Udaipur has recently announced the admission cut-off for PGP (2019-21) batch. It mentions the minimum score which is required by the candidates to qualify for the WAT-PI round. The admission committee of IIM Udaipur decides the admission cut-off score each year.

    The IIMs who are participating in the CAP have decided to adopt a common admission process (CAP 2019 process) of WAT & PI to be coordinated this year by IIM Ranchi. The scores obtained by the candidate in WAT & PI of CAP 2019 would be considered for preparing the merit list.

    IIM Udaipur: PGP (2019-21) Final Admission Selection Criteria

    Final admission criteria for IIM Udaipur’s PGP (2019-21) is a crucial aspect in the entire admission process. Aspirants are given points on various parameters before they receive a final call for admission to the IIM. Here are the parameters which are important from admission point of view:

    IIM Udaipur: PGP (2019-21) Programme Fees

    A candidate receiving admission offer from IIM Udaipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance, an Offer Acceptance amount of Rs. 50,000/-. If a candidate subsequently wishes to withdraw the offer within the withdrawal date specified by the Institute, Offer Acceptance Amount will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000/- as processing charges. If a candidate applies for withdrawal after the date specified by the Institute, no refund will be admissible. If a candidate registers for the program, his/her Offer Acceptance Amount will be adjusted against Term I Fee. In the event of withdrawal from the Program after registration, NO refund of Offer Acceptance Amount & Term Fee will be made.
