IIT Jodhpur notified recruitment for 15 Various Posts 2014

The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur invited applications for recruitment of 15 various posts on Contract/Deputation/Regular basis based on performance.
The candidates eligible for the post can apply online on or before 7 April 2014. The IIT Jodhpur is a public university  located in Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan in India. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, government of India.

Age Limit
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 35 years for post no. 1.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 32 years for post no. 2 to 4.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 30 years for post no. 5 to 7.
• The maximum age of the candidates shall not exceed 27 years for post no. 8 to 10.

Educational Qualification
• Technical Superintendent (CSE): MSc, B.Tech, B.E., or B.Sc. in Computer Science OR Diploma in Computer Science and should have system level programming experience.
• Junior Technical Superintendent (Physics): MSc or BSc in Physics and should have Computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.
• Junior Technical Superintendent (Biology): MSc or BSc in Biology.
• Junior Technical Superintendent (Chemistry): MSc in Chemistry, B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical or BSc in Chemistry OR Diploma in Chemical Engineering and should have Computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.
• Technician (Electrical): BSc in Electrical Engineering/Diploma in Electrical or Electronic or Telecommunication.
• Technician (CSE): BSc in Computer Science or Diploma in Computer Science.
• Technician (ME): BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Junior Technician (Electrical): BSc in Electrical Engineering/Diploma in Electrical or Electronic or Telecommunication or Instrumentation.
• Junior Technician (Mechanical): BSc in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Junior Technician (Chemistry): BSc with Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering/Instrumentation.

Application Fee
• General & OBC candidates need to pay Rs.250/- as application fees through online process.
• SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

Pay Scale
• Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4600/- for post no. 1.
• Rs. 9300-34800 + GP Rs. 4200/- for post no. 2, 3 & 4.
• Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2400/- for post no. 5, 6 & 7.
• Rs. 5200-20200 + GP Rs. 2000/- for post no. 8, 9 & 10.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Trade Test, Presentation and/or Interview.
