Eligibility Criteria for IITM Research Fellow and Other Posts Jobs:
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- IITM Research Associates: Should have completed doctorate degree in (Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography/ Physics/ Applied Physics/ Geology or Geophysics with Meteorology as main subject with minimum 60 % at Master’s level and should be acquainted with computer programming etc.
- IITME Research Fellows: Should have completed M.Sc./MS (Meteorology/ Atmospheric Sciences/ Oceanography/ Geology or Geophysics with Meteorology as main subject from recognised university with minimum 60% with a valid NET/GATE/JAM/JEST score or M.Tech (Atmospheric Sciences).
- Junior Research Fellow: Should have completed M.Sc in Physics/Atmospheric Sciences/Metrology/Geophysics/ environmental Science/ Electronics or equivalent/ M.Tech (Atmospheric Sciences) from recognised university with minimum 60% at master’s level and should have a valid NET/GATE/JAM/JEST score.
Age Limit:
- IITM Research Associates: 35 Years
- IITME Research Fellows/ Junior Research Fellow : 28 Years
