Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India issued recruitment notification for filling up ­­­ 53 posts (12 Group 'B', Non Gazetted  posts & 41 Group 'C' posts) of Sub Inspector (Staff Nurse), Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist), Assistant Sub Inspector (Lab Technician), Assistant Sub Inspector (Radiographer), Head Constable (Midwife). Interested candidates should send their applications till 30 August 2013.

Eye Sight: Minimum Distant vision: 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes (without correction)

Candidates should not have knock-knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes.

Candidates should possess high grade colour vision.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through a multi-staged process as mentioned below:

Stage I: Document Verification: All relevant / required documents in original will verified and only those clearing the document verification stage will be allowed to participate in the remaining recruitment process.

Stage II: Physical Standard Test: Candidates clearing document verification will appear for Preliminary physical screening for conforming to the prescribed physical standard.

Stage III: Written Examination& Skill test: Candidates qualifying the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be allowed to appear for the written test and Skill test. The question paper for the written test will be bilingual and can be answered either in Hindi or in English.

Written test for the post of Sub Inspector - Staff Nurse, ASI - Pharmacist, ASI - Lab Technician & ASI - Radio Grapher will be of 200 marks and for the post of HC - Midwife will be of 100 marks.

Practical (Skill test of respective cadre / trade) for the post of Sub Inspector - Staff Nurse, ASI - Pharmacist, ASI - Lab Technician & ASI - Radio Grapher will be of 40 marks and for the post of HC - Midwife will be of 20 marks.

Stage IV: Interview (Personality test): Those who qualify in the written examination & skill test would be required to appear before the Selection Board for Interview.

Viva Voce for the post of Sub Inspector - Staff Nurse, ASI - Pharmacist, ASI - Lab Technician & ASI - Radio Grapher will be of 10 marks and for the post of HC - Midwife will be of 5 marks.

Stage-V: Detailed Medical Examination: Selected candidate will have to clear a medical fitness test by a Medical Examination Board.

Candidates found eligible for the post applied will be called to participate in the selection process. The exact date and venue of recruitment test will be intimated to the eligible candidates through Admit Card.

The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad.

The selected candidates will have to undergo basic training at any of the training institutions of ITBPF.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to deposit application fee of Rs.50 through crossed Indian Postal Order / Central Recruitment Fee Stamp.

For the post of Sub Inspector - Staff Nurse, ASI -  Pharmacist,  ASI - Lab Technician & ASI - Radio Grapher: The  crossed Indian Postal Order / Central Recruitment Fee Stamp should be drawn in favor of ‘DIG (Medical), Composite Hospital, Chandigarh’ payable at Chandigarh.

For the post of HC - Midwife: The crossed Indian Postal Order / Central Recruitment Fee Stamp should be drawn in favor of ‘Commandant Base Hospital ITBPF Delhi’, payable at Delhi.

SC / ST, female & Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

How to Apply: Interested candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with copies of all certificates, Fee IPO / CRFS, Admission Card and 2 self-addressed envelopes with RS.5 postage stamps affixed on them to the concerned address mentioned above so as to reach the said office by 30 August 2013.
