ISC Class 11 2024-25 Syllabus: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is the national-level educational board in India that delivers its content to students, primarily in English. Two examinations come under the CISCE Board: the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC). The ICSE examination is conducted for classes until the 10th. The higher classes come under ISC and are eligible to sit for the ISC Board examination. ISC Class 11 Subjects for Examination 2025

Note: The following subject combinations are not permitted for the ISC Examination:

Part II - Subjects Available for ISC Internal Examination
(i) Class XI Examination: For selected subjects, Question Papers for the Class XI Final Examination will be provided by CISCE. CISCE will also set the timetable for the conduct of the Class XI Final Examination in these selected subjects.
(ii) It will be the responsibility of the Head of the School to ensure promotion from Class XI to Class XII on the basis of the cumulative achievement level of the candidate throughout the academic year in the subjects the candidate has been registered for. For promotions, a candidate is required to have obtained at least 35% marks in four subjects (severally) including English on the cumulative average and a minimum attendance of 75% of the working days. No other criteria will be used for promotion from Class XI to Class XII.
Promotion from Class XI to Class XII on trial basis, on Re-examination or Awarding of Grace marks is not permissible and will not be accepted by CISCE. Transfer Certificate should not be issued with ‘Promoted to Class XII’ if the student has not met the required promotion criteria.
