Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry Paper 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board, KSEAB conducted the Chemistry paper for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2024 on March 15. The exam commenced at 10:15 AM and concluded at 1:30 PM. This was an important exam for students pursuing the Science stream. Pattern of Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry Question Paper 2024
The question paper had a total of 49 questions and the overall weightage of the question paper was 70 marks. Students were given 3 hours to write their answers.
The question paper was divided into FIVE parts:
- Part-A had 20 questions. Each question carried 1 mark.
- Part-B had 6 questions. Each question carried 2 marks.
- Part-C had 10 questions. Each question carried 3 marks.
- Part-D had 7 questions. Each question carried 5 marks.
- Part-E had 6 questions. Each question carried 3 marks.
Questions in all parts had internal choices except Part A.
Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry Exam Analysis 2024
The Karnataka 2nd PUC Chemistry exam was reviewed to be moderately difficult. Students and experts shared that the paper was challenging yet manageable. The questions in the exam were found to be aligned with the prescribed syllabus.

Sections D and E included a few questions requiring application of concepts and critical thinking. - Name reactions included in the paper were familiar to students.
