Knowledge Innovation Repository of Agriculture in the North East (KIRAN) will be conducting Walk –in- Interview and invites eligible candidates to appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the posts of Research Associate (RA) and other posts for various projects in ICAR (RC) for NEH Region, Umiam. Posts are purely on Contractual Basis and co- terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may appear for the Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 25 October 2016.

1. Research Associate (RA) - 01 Post
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 01 Post
3. Data Enumerator – 06 Posts.

Eligibility Criteria for Knowledge Innovation Repository of Agriculture in North East RA & Other Jobs:

Educational Qualification:

1. Research Associate (RA): Possess Ph.D. Degree in the Agricultural Economics or M.Sc.
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Possess Master’s Degree in the respective discipline.
3. Data Enumerator: Possess Graduate Degree in the field of Agriculture/ Science/ Arts with Economics.

Age Limit:

1. Research Associate (RA)/ Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 40 years
2. Data Enumerator: 32 years.
3. OBC: Relaxation of 03 years.
4. SC/ ST: Relaxation of 05 years.
5. PWD & Others: As per norms.

Selection Procedure for Knowledge Innovation Repository of Agriculture in North East RA & Other Jobs:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Walk –in- Interview/ Personal Interview, which will be conducted by the administration.

Eligible candidates may appear for Walk –in- Interview for the respective posts on 25 October 2016 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM onwards in the ATIC building of ICAR (RC) for NEH Region, Umiam - '793 103, Meghalaya. Candidates has to appear for the Interview on the said date along with the filled in application form in the prescribed format, a complete Bio- data and the other necessary required documents and original documents as well which can be verified at the time of Interview.
