The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest state-owned life insurance company in India, and also the country's largest investor. Owned by the Government of India, it shares 24.6% of the Indian Government's expenses and has 8 Zonal Offices and 113 Divisional Offices located in different parts of India. It invites application from eligible candidates for the Direct Recruitment of Sales Executive in different zones.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree of a University established in India under a statute. Preference may be given to those applicants who possess a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Marketing/ Management. Good working knowledge of English and also one Regional language preferably local language is desirable. Knowledge of soft skills such as Power Point/ Word/ Excel would be additional advantage.

Age Limit (as on 1 September 2011): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 35 years

Application Fee: Application fees for unreserved/ OBC candidates is Rs 100 and no fee will be charged from SC/ ST candidates. The application fee shall be paid by cash only at the cash counter during cash hours only of any Branch office of Life Insurance Corporation  of India under Account Code 114034.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of a written test (if necessary), followed by an Interview of candidates who qualify in the written test.
