Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Post Graduate Certificate Program in Business Analytics (Batch 2016)

Candidate has to fulfill both the criteria A and B to be eligible:

A. Candidate must have passed Graduation from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks*

B. Candidate must have undergone a course in basic statistics/database management / programming language during Graduation is mandatory.

OR

Has familiarity / Work experience with relational databases / strong data component (2 to 10 years’ work experience preferred).

OR

Has familiarity with at least one programming language (C, C#, Python, etc.)

* The candidate must submit the Graduation mark-sheets and Certificate.

Selection procedure for Admission in Post Graduate Certificate Program in Business Analytics (Batch 2016)

The selection of candidates for the Post Graduate Certificate Program would be based on the following criteria:

a. Educational background

b. Application Essay

c. Work experience / Entrance Examination marks (wherever applicable**)

d. Interview

Through the Application Form, the student will have to submit an Application Essay of up to 500 words covering the following points:

a) Educational background and accomplishments

b) Description of the work experience (if any) (Quality / Relevance)

c) Objectives of studying Business Analytics

** For executives with experience < 2 years as well as freshers, there would be an Entrance Examination on statistical concepts and logical reasoning. There will be no Entrance Examination for executives with work experience greater than or equal to 2 years.
