Meghalaya Police Job Notification:
Meghalaya Police invited applications for recruitment to the posts of UB-Sub Inspector, AB-Sub Inspector, Unarmed Branch Constables, Fireman, Driver Fireman, MPRO Operator Constables, WPC, Armed Branch Constables, State Battalion Constables & IRBN Constables, Handyman Constables, Rider Constables, MPRO (General Duty Constables), Mechanics, Driver Constables, Buglers and Armourers.
The number of vacancies for Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2016 has been increased from 1705 posts to 2058 posts from recruitment notification dated 27 May 2016, the last date of applying for the post is also modified and now the eligible and interested candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 15 July 2016 rather 31 July 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya Police 2058 Constables & Other Jobs:
Educational Qualification:
- Unarmed Branch Constable/ Fireman/ Driver FM/ MPRO Operator/ IRBN Signal Operators/ Mechanics- 10+2 Passed (Class 12th Passed).
- Armed Branch Constable/ Driver Constables/ Handymen, Battalion Constables including IRBN Constables- Class IX (passed).
- Followers of DEF/ State Battalions including IRBN- Class V Passed.
Age Limit:
- Unarmed Branch Constable/ Fireman/ Driver FM/ MPRO Operator/ IRBN Signal Operators/ Mechanics- 18-21 years.
- Armed Branch Constable/ Driver Constables/ Handymen, Battalion Constables including IRBN Constables- 18-21 years.
- Followers of DEF/ State Battalions including IRBN- 18-27 years.
Selection Procedure for Meghalaya Police 2058 Constables & Other Jobs:
The selection of the candidates for Meghalaya Police jobs will be done on the basis of the interview/written exam/PMT conducted by the organization.
