About the Institute: The National Institute of Design (NID) is acclaimed as one of the foremost multi-disciplinary institutions in the field of design education.

Purpose: NEED is conducted at 11 centres across India to choose candidates for admission to its GDPD (Graduate Diploma Programme in Design) in the Ahmedabad campus.

Type of Questions: Questions will test the mental ability, creativity, drawing and communication skills and worldview of the candidates, in order to gauge his/her aptitude and skills for design.
Based on the test, the institute selects candidates for personal interview and studio tests.
