National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) announces admission for PGDISEM

NITIE was established in 1963. NITIE's Post Graduate Programmes are highly rated by the Industry.  NITIE pass outs are placed in senior positions of leadership in Industry. They have come up with their Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environmental Management.

Important Dates 

• Last date for submitting application through the online portal: 17 December 2012
• Last date for receiving hard copy of application by post: 30 December 2012
• Last date for Receipt of Photocopy/ Printout of CAT Score Card: 4 February 2013
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview: March 2013

Eligibility

• Candidates should have Bachelor's Degree with First Division (60% marks or more as per your University regulations or equivalent CGPA) in any branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent (5% concession in case of SC/ST/PD candidates).
• Candidates should take up the Common Admission Test (CAT 2012) conducted by the IIMs in order to apply for the Programs.
• Candidates who are currently in their final year of Engineering/Technology degree can also apply.

Application Fee

Rs.1000/-(Rs 500/- in case of SC/ST/PD candidates)

How to Apply

• The candidates have to register for applying online by creating login ID and password. You can use the same to correct your form details till submission.

Instructions for Challan

          a)  The payment can be made by depositing the application fee with the necessary transaction charges in any branch of the SBI in favour of NITIE (A/C No:  30510275155). The Challan can be printed from the link provided in the payment page. Please fill in the Category (General/ Reserved) details prior in the personal details page to get the complete Challan for printing.

          b)      Candidates are to provide the Challan number (Journal number) online to complete the application form.

Instructions for ICollect (online payment)

         a)  Candidates can also make an online payment through ICollect on www.onlinesbi.com, for further instruction please download ICollect instructions from downloads section on the left hand side menu. Please note that payment through www.onlinesbi.com is possible only for SBI account holders having Internet Banking.

         b) Candidates are to provide the ICollect Transaction ID online to complete the application form. 

• Once you submit your application, you will be given a unique "Application Form Number". You will then be taken to a confirmation page, where you can take a printout of your application form. The form duly signed and affixed with a photograph have to be sent to the address given below along with the necessary documents
