NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024: The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) Assistant online application process is ongoing and the exam is scheduled to take place on November 30, 2024. The candidates will be selected as assistants in NICL after multiple phases of the selection procedure.
As per the official notice, candidates will be selected based on their performance in online examinations of phases 1 and 2. Let's look at the NICL Assistant exam pattern and selection procedure.
NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024
The NICL Assistant examination will consist of three stage selection procedures, i.e., prelims, mains examinations and regional language test. The candidates who clear the phase 1 (prelims) examination will be called for phase 2 (mains). The NICL Assistant prelims syllabus will consist of subjects such as quantitative aptitude, numerical ability and English language. The total marks that will be allotted to the prelims examination are 100 and the duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.

NICL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2024
The NICL Assisant Phase 1 of Prelims exam will be conducted for the duration of 60 minutes and it will contain a total of 100 marks. The questions will be asked from subjects such as English language, reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude.
- Total Duration: 60 min & Total Questions: 100
- If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- Candidates will have to qualify in each test/section by securing passing marks to be decided by the Company
- The examination will be conducted in English as well as Hindi except for English language section.

NICL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2024
The candidates who qualify the preliminary examination, securing the minimum marks as decided by the recruitment body, will be called for the mains examination. The mains examination will consist of objective tests (multiple choice type questions) for 200 marks. The duration of the examination would be 120 minutes (separate time for each test / section or composite time) and will consist of 5 sections as follows:

NICL Assistant Regional Language 2024
Candidates who are shortlisted for the mains examination will be called for the respective regional language test. Candidates have to appear for a regional language test for the state they have applied for. The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for the same.
