NIT Tiruchirappalli Notified Recruitment for 6 Posts of Support Trainees 2014

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli invited applications for recruitment to 6 contractual posts of Support Trainees (Network/ Software/ Hardware). Interested candidates should send their applications along with copies of required certificates to the Institute till 7 July 2014.

Total vacancies: 6 posts

1. Network Support Trainees: 2 posts
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech. in CSE/ ECE/ EEE

2. Hardware Support Trainees: 3 posts
Qualifications: BE/B.Tech. in CSE/ ECE/ EEE

3. Software Support Trainees: 1 post
Qualifications: MCA/ M.Sc. (Computer Science)

Remuneration: Rs.12000 per month
Age Limit: 26 years (as on 1 June 2014)
Mode of recruitment: Contractual, for one year, extend-able on annual basis for a maximum of 2 years, subject to performance and requirement. The posts are purely Temporary.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the online written test followed by Practical test and personal interview.

The 45 Minutes on-line test would be in the areas of Computer System Hardware, Software, System Administration, OS, and Programming Languages.
The 30 minutes Practical Test would be for Identifying hardware, Basic OS Installation

Candidates qualifying the online test and practical test will be allowed to appear for the Personal Interview.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and/or interview. They will be informed through E-Mail to appear for test.
