    Exam pattern is the foundation for understanding the nuances of an MBA entrance exam for which you aim. Without having adequate information about the exam pattern, a test taker can get baffled while appearing for the final attempt. So before you appear for the NMAT by GMACTMexam, take a thorough look at the exam pattern and find out relevant details that can affect your performance. The aspects which one must be aware of regarding the exam pattern are as follows: number of sections in the exam, total number of questions and sectional break-up of the questions, time allocated to attempt the exam and time allotted to each section, negative marking scheme etc. 

    NMAT Test Window Advantage

    Exam takers competing for a seat in Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) shall also make a note that NMAT exam can be taken 3 times in the test window that begins from October 4, 2018, onwards and ends on December 17, 2018. The test takers are given the discretion to share their best score among the three chances attempted. The best score is considered as the final score for seeking admission in the NMIMS affiliated colleges. It should also be noted that for every additional attempt, candidates are supposed submit additional fees as well.

    About NMAT Exam Pattern

    NMAT Exam tests the aptitude of aspirants through 120 MCQ based questions (from 3 sections i.e. Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning) that are expected to be solved within 120 minutes.

    Negative Marking Scheme in NMAT exam

    Unlike other MBA entrance exams in which negative marking pulls down the percentile scores of candidates, NMAT doesn’t carry any negative marking. Aspirants don’t have to face the wrath of negative marking if they choose wrong options. 1 mark is rewarded for choosing correct options while no mark is deducted if you attempt a wrong option.

    Exam Submission Guidelines

    As the exam is conducted in online mode, test takers must review their answers before submitting the final test. After submitting the test, you will not be allowed to make further changes in the test.
