Odisha Public Service Commission issued notification inviting online applications for recruitment to 352 posts of Lecturer in various disciplines in (Group-A) of Odisha Education Service (College Branch) under Department of Higher Education. Interested candidates can apply online through OPSC website www.opsconline.gov.in on or before 24 February 2014 & send the print-out of the online submitted application on or before 10 March 2014.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject or equivalent qualification.
NET shall remain as the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with postgraduate degree. For candidates having Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
Selection Process: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview.
Application Fee: Non-refundable applicant fee of Rs. 200 is to be deposited in cash at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) using the printout of Online fee payment Challan.
SC / ST of Odisha & PWD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through OPSC website www.opsconline.gov.in on or before 24 February 2014.
On successful submission of the online application form, a Registration ID will be displayed on the screen as well as on the top of the application form. Candidates should take two print-outs of the submitted application form with unique Registration ID mentioned on it and send one print-out along with OPSC copy of the fee deposit receipt in Original and attested copies of required certificates / testimonials / documents / mark-sheets by Registered Post / Speed Post / Courier Service to ‘The Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack-753001’ so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 10 March 2014 till 1700 hours.
Candidate can also submit a copy of the printout of the online submitted application along with copy of requisite certificates and documents etc by dropping it in the box placed at the entrance of the office of the Odisha Public Service Commission.
On the envelope containing the application, candidates should super-scribe “Application for Lecturer in ______ (Concerned subject) and Advertisement No.”
