Planning Commission, New Delhi Notified Recruitment for 18 Posts of Deputy Adviser 2014

    Planning Commission, New Delhi invites applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the following posts of “Deputy Advisers” General Central Services (GCS), Group ‘A’ on the Promotion/ Deputation (including short term contract) Basis for specific period not exceeding five (05) years. The candidates eligible for the post may apply within 60 days from date of the publication of this Advertisement in the Employment News.

    Details of Posts

    Name of Post : “Deputy Adviser”

    No. of Posts : 18 (Eighteen). [One Post each for all Discipline – Minerals, Consumer Industries, Education, Multi Level Planning, Project Appraisal, Voluntary Action    Cell, Animal Husbandry, Chemicals, Scientific Reasearch, Water Supply, Monitoring Power, Power, Energy Survey, Monitoring Agriculture, Social Development, Irrigation, Monitoring Coal-Petroleum, Social Planning].

    Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria

    • For Deputation

    Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territories/ Recognised Research Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous organisation : 

    (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department ; or

    (ii) with five years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in posts in the Pay Band – 3, Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

    (iii) Possessing the prescribed Educational Qualification.

    • For Promotion

    (i) Dept. Senior Research Officer of the Planning Commission Pay Band – 3, Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- with five years’ regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis.

    (ii) Possessing the prescribed Educational Qualification.

    Age Limit & Relaxation

    The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.

    Pay Scale/ Scale

    • Pay Band is PB – 3 and Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/- Per Month.
    • Other Allowances as admissible as per rules.

    Selection Procedure

    • Selection for the posts will be made by UPSC.
    • The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Practical/ Skill Test/ Interviews, which might be conducted by the administration.

    Interested Candidates may apply  with two copies of the complete Bio-data along with the Annual Confidential Reports Dossier for the preceding five years’ duly attested by a Officer alongwith Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate, statement of minor/ major penalty, if any, imposed on the officer during the service may be sent through proper channel with attested photocopies of the relavent testimonials/ certificates relating to educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, category (SC/ ST/ OBC), etc. and forward it to “The Under Sectretary (Admn.
