Selection Procedure
For post code 1 to 16: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in written test, followed by interview of those qualifying the exam.
Only shortlisted candidates - on the basis of GATE-2014 score - will be allowed to appear for the exam.
For post code 17 & 18: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear for the Interview.
Candidates called for interview will have to produce original and attested copies of required documents for verification.
Application Fee
Processing fee of Rs.1000 (Rs.500 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates) is to be paid;
For postcode 1 to 15: through online payment gateway during on-line registration process.
For postcode 16 to 18: through a crossed DD drawn in favour of ‘RailTel Corporation of India Limited’ payable at ‘Gurgaon/ Delhi’.
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates should
For postcode 1 to 15: apply online through RailTel website www.railtelindia.comtill 28 June 2014.
On submission of required information, candidates will be diverted to online payment gateway to deposit requisite fees. On successful payment of fee, a journal number will be generated. After submission of fees, candidates should complete the remaining formalities and submit the application form.
For post code 16 to 18: send their applications, in prescribed format, along with attested copies of relevant documents by ordinary post to ‘Joint General Manager (P&A), RailTel Corporation of India Limited, Plot no. 143, Sector-44,Gurgaon- 122003’ so as to reach the concerned authority till 4 July 2014.
