Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai Declared Results for Recruitment to Group D Posts 2012

Railway Recruitment Cell, Chennai declared results (3^rd part select list) for recruitment to Group D Posts (Safety Category vacancies) on 23 March 2012. Based on the performance of the candidates in Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination and scrutiny of documents, 1494 candidates were selected by the authoritative body.

The candidates were provisionally selected and recommended for appointment to Group D Posts in Pay Scale of Rs 2550- 3200/ 2610- 3540 in Southern Railway & Integral Coach Factory (ICF).

The 1^st and 2^nd part select list for the same vacancies were published on 18 January 2012 and 14 February 2012 respectively.

A total number of 3698 vacancies were proposed by the RRC, Chennai for the same post. On receipt of the awaiting results of Medical Examination for many candidates, the Final Select List will be prepared and thus notified.

Note: The Merit order or Seniority position will be based on the Final Select List (Panel) to be published by RRC, Chennai, irrespective of the date of joining in a particular seniority unit.
