RRB NTPC (Graduate) Exam 2015 - 2016 Dates Announced, Find Exam Scheme, Syllabus & More

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) announced exam date, pattern and syllabus for the upcoming RRB NTPC (Graduate) Exam 2015-2016. The examination is scheduled to be held on 28-31 March 2016 and 02-30 April 2016. The examination will be held in three shifts: 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

RRB had announced massive vacancy for 18252 Posts (CEN No. 03/2015) on 26 December 2015. The participating Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Bilaspur, Channdigarh, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Guwahati, Jammu-Srinagar, Kolkata, Malda, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Ranchi, Secunderabad, Siliguri and Thiruvananthapuram. Applications for the above mentioned examination were invited till 25 January 2016.

The RRB NTPC (Graduate) Examination 2015-2016 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 90 minutes duration (extra time will be allowed for PWD candidates with scribe). The test will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions. There will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for every incorrect answer. The examination will be conducted in 15 languages across the nation.

  • April: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th(examination only in 3rd Shift), 10th(examination only in 3rd Shift), 11th, 12th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 22nd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th April 2016

Exam Duration

  • The duration of Computer Based Test (CBT) will be 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates with scribe)
  • Number of questions: 100 Types of questions:
  • Multiple choice questions
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd for every incorrect answer.

Exam Languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Konkani, Odia, Assamese, Bengali, Manipuri, Malayalam & Urdu (15 languages).
