Eligibility Criteria for Special Education Teacher Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Coordinator: candidate should have completed M.A in Social Work (Disability Studies and Action/Rehabilitation Professional certified by RCI.)

Physiotherapist: candidate should have Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy (B.P.T)

Speech Therapist: candidate should have Degree/Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (PHLS) from a recognised university.

Audiologist: candidate should have Degree/Diploma in BASLP/MASLP from a recognised university.

Occupational Therapist: candidate should have Degree/Diploma in concerned discipline from a recognised university.

Counselor: candidate should have completed BA/MA (Psychology) from a recognised university.

Special Education Teacher Visually Impaired (Primary Level): candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and Special B.Ed/D.Ed from an institute recognised by RCI.

Special Education Teacher Hearing Impaired (Primary Level/Secondary Level): candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and Special B.Ed/D.Ed from an institute recognised by RCI.

Special Education Teacher (M. R) (Primary Level/Secondary Level): candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and Special B.Ed/D.Ed from an institute recognised by RCI.

Special Education Teacher (C.B.R) (Primary Level/Secondary Level): candidate should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and Special B.Ed/D.Ed from an institute recognised by RCI.

Special Education Teacher (Computer): should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and Diploma in Special PGDCA.

Special Education Teacher (Sports): should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and should have Degree/Diploma in PPT/Sports.

Special Education Teacher (Vocational Art and Craft): should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and

Music Teacher: should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board and should have diploma in Music from a recognised institute.
