SPJIMR Mumbai has announced cut-off scores for admission to its two-year full time PGDM 2018-20 batch. The online application process is expected to commence from 3rd week of September. The B-school has also announced that it is open to accept scores of CAT 2017, XAT 2018 and GMAT exam for granting admission to the management degree aspirants.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in SPJIMR
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. The percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree would be based on the practice followed by the institution/university from where the candidate has obtained the degree.
Applicant must possess a strong and consistent academic background. Performance in 10th grade, 12th grade and every year of graduation are considered in the selection process.
How to Apply in SPJIMR
The eligible candidates must visit the official website of the institute to fill the admission form.
After filling all the details correctly, they shall pay an application processing fee is of Rs. 1,200/-. This fee can be paid through credit card or net banking.
Admission Criteria: Entrance Exams Accepted
SPJIMR has released the minimum cut-off score that is mandatory to seek admission in the institute. As per the admission criteria set by the institute, they are open to accept scores of either of the two entrance exams i.e. CAT 2017 and XAT 2018 scores.

Work Experience
It should be noted that as per the admission criteria of SPJIMR, work experience is not mandatory for this program. Fresh graduates and those with up to five years of work experience can apply.
Whereas, Internship/ training/ project work which was a part of the curriculum will not be considered as work experience.
Selection Process for admission in SPJIMR
All the interested and eligible candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their profiles. The applicants are expected for clear the cut-off score of either of the two entrance exams mentioned above in order to seek admission in the institute. Thereafter, the institute will shortlist the profiles and categorise them under two heads: Profile based and Profile cum Score based.

About SPJIMR
SPJIMR offers two-year, full-time residential program deemed to be equivalent to an MBA. At present, the institute offers an intake capacity of 240 students in its PGDM Programme. An additional 36 seats have been sanctioned for PIO/OCI and Foreign Nationals. The maximum total intake of the program is up to 276 seats.
