The Staff Selection Commission will begin conducting the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam starting tomorrow, January 18 and will conclude it on January 20. The exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test mode, featuring 150 multiple-choice questions in Paper 1 and 100 objective-type questions in Paper 2. Aspirants who successfully cleared the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam. It is crucial for candidates to thoroughly understand and adhere to the exam day guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free examination experience.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
As per SSC CGL Tier 1 Result, a total of 186,509 candidates are qualified to appear for the Tier 2 exam.
- Early Arrival: Candidates should reach the examination center at least two hours before the scheduled exam time to avoid any last-minute rush.
- Gate Closure: Entry gates will close 30 minutes before the exam starts. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances.
- Admit card is a must: The admit card is a crucial document that every candidate must carry to the exam center. Without it, entry into the examination hall will not be permitted. Therefore, candidates should ensure they bring a printed copy of the SSC CGL Tier 2 Admit Card, with their photograph and signature clearly visible.
- Mandatory Photo ID: In addition to the admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID, such as:
- Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- PAN Card
- Prohibited Items: Avoid bringing smartphones, Bluetooth devices, or any other electronic gadgets to the exam center.
- Jewellery Restrictions: Do not wear jewellery such as bangles, necklaces, or similar accessories during the exam.
- Entry Restrictions: Candidates without the required documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
