SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2014: Eligibility Criteria

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014 for recruitment to various posts in central government departments/ministry. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts by 14 February 2014.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2014 for recruitment to various posts in central government departments/ministry. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts by 14 February 2014. The minimum educational qualification required for the examination is a graduation degree. The Tier I Exam for SSC-CGL 2014 is scheduled to be held on 27 April 2014 and 04 May 2014.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualifications as on 1st January, 2014.

Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

Statistical Investigator Grade —II Bachelor's Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects

OR

Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics (with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects

OR

Bachelor's Degree with Economics (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects

OR

Bachelor's Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects

Note-: “Statistics" means any branch of Statistics, applied or otherwise.

NOTE I: Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstance.

NOTE II: Fee paid by modes other than CRFS for paper/off-line applications and SBI in case of online application will not be considered and the applications of such candidates will be rejected outright and payment made shall stand forfeited.

NOTE III: Candidates may please note that non-cancellation of stamps from the concerned Post Office in the manner indicated above, will lead to rejection of his/her application form. Therefore, it is in the interest of candidates that they get the CRFS cancelled from the concerned Post Office.
