SSC GD Answer Key 2024; GD Constable Response Sheet Delayed due to Re Exam

The answer key is delayed by the commission as the exam is re-scheduled for a total of 16185 candidates.

The commission will follow the normalization of marks to calculate the results of the candidates as the exam was held in various shifts.

The cutoff marks will be prepared on the basis of the number of candidates who appeared in the exam, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of exam shifts. The cutoff marks for general category expected between 145 to 155 while for OBC candidates are between 135  and 147.

The final answer key will be released after the declaration of the result.

The results will be declared in one month after the release of the tentative answer key on the official SSC website (https://ssc.nic.in/) in the form of a PDF listing the roll numbers and names of qualified candidates.

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers. Candidates should note that the marks, which will be calculated after deducting the negative marking, are not the final scores. These scores will be further normalized by the commission.

The normalization of scores will depend on the levels of difficulty of the question papers, number of shifts, etc."

The answer key link will be available in a PDF. However, you are required to log into ssc.digialim.com using their login credentials. Once you log in, the answers will appear on your screen.

No, this answer key is provisional which helps you estimate probable marks. The final marks will depend on challenges submitted against the answer key and the commission's final decision.

You can go through this example to calculate their scores. Let's say you attempted all 100 questions in the SSC GD exam. You got 70 answers correct and 30 answers wrong.

• Marks for correct answers = 70 x 2 = 140
• Deductions for wrong answers = 30 x 0.25 = 7.5
• Your estimated score = 140 - 7.5 = 132.5

The candidates who are not satisfied with the answers can raise their objections, against the answer key, through online mode. They are required ti submit an objection on ssc.gov.in. It is to be noted that there will be charges of Rs.100 per objection.

SSC hasn't released the official answer key for the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 yet. However, candidates can calculate their estimated marks, once the answer key is released, using the following steps:
