• Numerical and Mathematical Ability: It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentage, Ratio and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square and Square roots etc.
• Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving: The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates‟ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, 20 Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams, age Calculations, Calendar and Clock, etc.
• General Awareness: The broad coverage of the test willbe on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science and Environmental studies up to 10th Standard.
• English Language and Comprehension: Candidates' understanding of the basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and question based on the paragraph to be asked

The Commission will charge Rs. 200/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the first time and Rs. 500/- for making correction and re-submitting modified/ corrected application for the second time. 

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Session-II of online exam. Normalized scores of the candidates will be
used to determine merit in the exam.

Students can pay the application fee through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, Maestro, RuPay Credit, Master Card or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

The photograph should be recent, scanned and coloured passport-size 

• It should be in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
• The image dimension should be  3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). 
• The photograph should not be more than 3 months old from the date of publication of the MTS Notification
• It should be without a cap and Spectacles.
• The frontal view of the face should be visible

The candidates should kept the following information ready:

• Recent scanned colour passport size photograph
• Specimen of photographs

The registration should be done within 30 days after submission of Basic information, otherwise  your data will be deleted from the system.

You are required to fill the following details:

1. Aadhaar Number, Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth etc
2. Information about Aadhaar Number/Identity Card and its Number.
3. Name as given on 10th Class Certificate.
4. Gender (Male/Female/Transgender)
5. Date of birth exactly as given in Matriculation
6. Father’s name exactly as given on the 10th Class Certificate.
7. Mother’s name exactly as given in Matriculation Certificate
8. 10th Board Name, Roll Number, Year of passing
9. Level of Educational Qualification (highest).
10. Mobile Number.
11. Email ID.
12. Your Registration Number and Password will be provided to you on your mobile number and Email ID after providing all the above information.
13. Now, Login using your Registration Number as username and auto-generated password provided to you on your mobile and email. Change your password, when prompted on the first login.
14. After a successful password change, login again using your Registration Number and new password.
15. Now click on ‘Save & Next’ button and proceed to fill up the next details

The candidates will be required following details at the time of registration:

• Mobile Number (to be verified through OTP)
• Email ID (to be verified through OTP).

• Information about the Board, Roll Number and Year of Passing the 10 board. 
• Disability Certificate, if applicable

The result will be announced on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission i.e. ssc.gov.in. It will be declared after the completion of whole exam process in a PDF format.

The Staff Selection Commission is conducting the exam for the recruitment of:

• Multi-Tasking Staff in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc., in different States/ Union Territories and
• Havaldar, a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

The answer key will be released after the completion of the exam. The candidates will be able to raise an objection against the answer key with a payment of Rs. 100/-.

Those who clear the written exam for the post of Havaldat will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standards Test (PST) for which the details are given below:

Physical Standards Test (PST)

Height: 

• Male: 157.5 cm
• Female: 152 cm

Chest for Male

• 76 cm with at least 5cm expansion.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Walk for Male - 1.6 Km in 15 minutes
• Walk for Female - 1 Km in 20 minutes

SSC MTS Registration will close on 31 July.  Students are advised to apply well in advance to avoid any kind of technical issue. They can edit their application after submission on 16 and 17 August 2024.

The admit card will be released on the regional website of SSC MTS 2024 i.e. SSC KKR, SSC NR, SSC SR, SSC CR, SSC ER, SSC NWR, SSC MPR, SSC NER, and SSC WR. The admit card will be released 7 days before the exam.

Candidates interested in applying for the SSC MTS Havaldar 2024 can check the important dates through the table given below:

Staff Selection Commission has notified a total of 8326 vacancies for MTS and Havaldar's Posts divided as follows:

• MTS - 4887 Vacancies
• Havaldar in CBIC and CBN - 3439 Vacancies

There will be no negative marking in Session-I. However, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer in Session II.  Candidates are, therefore,advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions

The exam will be conducted in two sessions i.e. Session 1 and Session 2. The candidates will get 45 Minutes to complete each session . On completion of 45 Minutes, Session-I will get automatically closed.

The exam will be conducted in Hindi, English and in 13 regional languages viz. (i) Assamese, Bengali, (iii) Gujarati, (iv) Kannada, (v) Konkani, (vi) Malayalam, (vii) Manipuri, (viii) Marathi, (ix) Odia, (x) Punjabi, (xi) Tamil, (xii) Telugu and (xiii) Urdu.

The age limit of the candidate should be 18 years  to 25 years for MTS and Havaldar in CBN (Department of Revenue) and 18 years to 27 years for Havaldar in CBIC (Department of Revenue) and few posts of MTS.

Candidates who want to apply for SSC MTS Recruitment are required to pay the application fee. Candidates from the General, OBC and EWS Category must pay Rs. 100 while candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories are exempted from the fee.

The exam will consist of 90 Objective Multiple-choice questions on Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving, General Awareness and English Reasoning and Comprehension as follows:

The candidates can apply online on the official website i.e. ssc.gov.in. There is no other mode to apply for this recruitment. The candidates can check the complete process in the notification.

Selected candidates will be selected for the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar will get Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 22,000 per month with a pay band of Rs 5200 – 20200. 

The number of vacancies will be notified by the commission in the notification. The candidates can download the details related to the vacancies in this article, once released

Candidates whose application is accepted will be called for the following rounds:

• The First Round will be CBT Written Exam for all the accepted applicants
• Those who clear the written exam for Havaldar posts will be called for the Physical Test (PET/ PST)- Only for Havaldar Posts
• Third round is Document Verification (DV)
• The final round is the Medical Examination

Students who are 10th pass are eligible to submit their application on the official website of the commission. This is the minimum qualification for the SSC MTS Recruitment 2024.
